Active participation and encouragement of TDS members have helped thousands of trainees gain confidence and develop abilities that are welcomed by the hospitality industry. After all, we teach much more than carrying food to the tables – positive attitudes can go a long way!
Our goals are to provide quality Western and Chinese food and beverages for members and promote the use of English or Putonghua between members and trainees in the restaurants.
At TDS, hospitality training is our business and this specific mission has set us apart from other commercial entities. Delivering outstanding hospitality is our expertise, but we strategically take both training needs and commercial expectations into account when conducting our operation. Since training is our top priority, business here can be run differently from other profit-oriented clubs or restaurants.
We do what is best for our trainees from menu to time-tabling planning. Basic objectives not only limited to teaching of various cooking styles but maximizing the exposure of up to a few thousands trainees per year. To strike a delicate balance, we endeavor to accommodate our members’ need as well as fulfilling intended training objectives.
With an aim to enhance our trainees’ language proficiency, members are encouraged to speak with them in English or Putonghua.
TDS provides services to members only and memberships are not transferable. Guests must be accompanied by members showing valid TDS membership cards.
To encourage participation from different members, we gladly offer restaurant bookings of up to 8 persons per membership.
